About Us

Brenda Zagula, M.P.T.

I want you to live well!  My desire is to help people improve their health rather than to tolerate dysfunction with compensations or medications.  My education and clinical experience have combined to give me a solid foundation in the practice of Physical Therapy fundamentals.  I have built on this foundation and continue to explore new pathways to facilitate the wisdom of the human body to change, heal, and function at a higher level.  I believe that balance is a crucial component of all aspects of health.  We are beings composed of mind, body, and spirit.  Balancing the body involves the structure, function, internal environment, and effects of emotions, attitudes and beliefs.

My practice provides input for the client to change their structure and function as indicated, and support them in addressing the spiritual, emotional, and nutritional aspects of their health.  I enjoy time with my husband and our two children, and finding ways to nurture myself through exercise, reading, spiritually stimulating endeavors, gardening, and sports.

After graduating from Northwestern University Medical School with a Masters in Physical Therapy,  I worked at the Rehabilition Institute of Chicago, in skilled nursing facilities, and in outpatient orthopedics.  I competed at the Division I collegiate level at Northwestern University where I earned my Bachelor's degree.  I have certifications in Pilates instruction and personal training.

Annette Arnold-Chody D.N.

Dr. Arnold-Chody joined Living Well PT in Spring 2009.  She graduated with Naprapathic honors from the National College of Naprapathic Medicine, Chicago, IL.  She has a BBA from the University of St. Francis, IL.  She and her dog are volunteers with Centegra Hospitals.  She practices Naprapathic Medicine which is manual medicine as a "connective tissue specialist".  Connective tissue includes ligaments, tendons, muscles, and cartilage that provide support to every system of the body.  Imbalances in these tissues can cause pain.  We help correct the imbalances with a focus on prevention, exercise, and supplements.  Treatment can also include modalities such as LLLT - low laser light therapy.
